Cattle grazing on Taylors Farm in Lancashire

Our Farming Story

From Field to Fork

We rear our own cattle, grow our own cereals and hang our beef for a minimum of 21 days - all right here on the farm.

Reared on Our Own Cereals

At Taylors Farm, we take pride in controlling every step of the journey from field to fork. Our cattle are reared on our own Alkaline Diet, made from cereals grown right here on the farm. This means we know exactly what goes into our beef from the very start.

Each week, we carefully select the best cattle from our herd. They are taken to a local slaughterhouse, keeping food miles to an absolute minimum. Our beef is then hung for a minimum of 21 days until mature, ensuring the best possible flavour, tenderness and taste.

Once ready, our beef is expertly butchered by Joe, Steve and the team right here at the farm shop - skilled butchers who take enormous pride in every cut they prepare.

Our Cattle Breeds

We rear three breeds of cattle, each chosen for their exceptional meat quality and suitability to our farm and climate. Fed on our own cereals and raised in the Lancashire countryside, the result is beef of outstanding quality.
